Gauge Studio

The gauge's own software, running in your browser. Everything you build here saves to a setup file that loads onto your gauge.

Build a full gauge, step by step

Midnight GT, made from a blank face in 17 pieces: an LED ring, a scale in a library font, a live rev trace, a rolling gear, temperature readouts and a needle. Every click is shown and explained, then it's tested on the demo drive. There's an MX-5 build on the tutorials page too.

How to use it

  1. E

    ECU

Pick your ECU. Studio shows what to turn on in the ECU's software and which readings the gauge will get.

  2. L

    Look

Choose a look and accent, add a photo, and set the start-up screen.

  3. P

    Pages

Click a reading on the gauge to change it. Set scales, warnings and the shift point.

  4. T

    Test

Play the demo drive. Take over any reading to see a warning, a stale value or a lost signal.

Good to know

It's the real software. The gauge face here is drawn by the same code that runs on the gauge, compiled for your browser.

Nothing leaves your computer unless you share it. Your setup is kept in this browser and in the files you save. Share it to the gallery from Studio's Gallery button.

It's still in development. Studio updates as the gauge's software does, so looks and options change before launch. It can't show the screen's real colour and brightness, or how the touch feels.

Sending a setup to a gauge needs Chrome or Edge and a USB-C cable or a USB-CAN adapter. Setup over the gauge's own Wi-Fi is planned for a later update.
