Prices and orders

The seller is Oliver Butler, trading as ModuGauge, operating in trade from Christchurch, New Zealand. These terms apply to purchases through this website. Prices are in NZD. Not GST registered. No GST is charged. Delivery is charged separately and the total is shown before you pay.

We currently accept waitlist registrations only. When orders open, an order is accepted when we email your order confirmation. If we cannot supply an accepted order, we will contact you and refund the full amount paid, including delivery. We will not substitute a product or charge an extra amount without your agreement.

Using the gauge

ModuGauge shows information your ECU sends. It doesn't replace your car's factory warning lights or a professional tune, and the warning limits you set are your choice. Install it so it doesn't block your view, your airbags or your controls, and don't adjust it while driving.

Fitting needs basic automotive wiring skills. If you're unsure, have it installed by an auto electrician.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist costs nothing and doesn't commit you to buy, reserve stock or lock in a price. The displayed price is the planned launch price. We will confirm the price, availability and dispatch estimate before accepting paid orders. Any specific offer already agreed with you will be honoured.

Compatibility and product information

Check the compatibility page for your ECU and the signals it supports before ordering. Available readings depend on the ECU configuration and connected sensors. Contact us if you are unsure. Product renders show the proposed product; the specification and contents offered for sale will be stated when orders open.

Gauge Studio and shared designs

You keep ownership of your original designs. Only publish pictures, fonts and other content you have permission to share. Publishing a design lets ModuGauge host and display it in the gallery, and lets visitors download, use and adapt it in Gauge Studio and on their gauges. Do not include personal or confidential information in a shared setup.

We may remove content that infringes rights, contains personal information, is abusive or is spam. To report a design or request its removal, email us with its gallery link. Removal from our gallery cannot remove copies already downloaded by others. Shared designs are not a compatibility or safety certification; check their readings and warning settings before use.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. See shipping and returns for warranty and refunds.

New Zealand law applies. Changes to these terms apply to future orders; the terms agreed when you place an order continue to apply to that order.

For an order problem or complaint, email your order reference and what happened. We will respond and work with you to resolve it. You can also seek independent advice from Consumer Protection or Citizens Advice Bureau, or take an eligible dispute to the Disputes Tribunal.
